- 2 Zucchini, 1Onion, 1Carrot, 1Potato
- 1-Cup Vegetable Oil
- 2 Beaten Eggs
- 1/4 Cup Flour
- 1 Teaspoon Salt
- ½ Cup plain Yogurt
1.Peel off all vegetables, Zucchini, potato, carrot and onion and then grate them. Place grated vegetables in a sieve and let the excess water drain off.
2.Pour grated vegetables into a mixing bowl. Sprinkle some flour and pinch of salt over the vegetables. Mix it using a spoon and then add eggs until well blended.
3.In a non-stick pan, pour 1-cup vegetable oil and heat it until it reaches 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
4.Grab your football shaped cookie cutter, and place it on a turner. Fill the cookie cutter with a dollop of Zucchini mixture. Press it delicately and create an approx ¼ inch broad football.
5.Dip this filled cookie cutter into the oil and carefully lift the cutter and let the football mixture to cook in the skillet.
6.Fry them and keep flipping until they get golden brown.
7.Depending upon the no. of football fritters you require, keep repeating the process.
8.Once you are done with frying football fritters, place them on a paper towel and remove excess oil.
9.You can either refrigerate them or decorate them just before the party or if right after making them you want to decorate them, line them on a baking sheet and heat them in oven to a 350-degree temperature for 8 to 10 minutes.
10.For dressing, use yogurt to pipe laces and stripes onto each football fritter.
