- Always Stay Positive: Don't be negative or worried about the fussy behavior of your toddler; stay positive and be calm while feeding. Try to make comments about food such as, ' Oh! This food is so Yum!' or 'See, this is so colorful!' Prefer giving compliments to your toddler when he eats well. Doing this will encourage him in the mealtime.
- Respect your Toddler's Decision: If your toddler is refusing to eat more food or shaking his head – stop Feeding him. After some time, try once more. If the answer is still same, please don't feed him. Toddlers can never be hungry, they very well know how much to eat. So, don't force them.
- Prefer Small Portions: Indulging so much in your toddler's plate can turn the mood off. Prefer serving your toddler small portions of food.
- Feed when Hungry: When your toddler is not hungry, it won't be good enough for you to feed forcefully. Else, get ready to face his tantrums. Make sure your child is more involved in a physical activity so that he is hungry enough to ask for food. Dairy products are good enough for your toddler, especially milk.
- Saying NO again and again or turning his head.

- Screaming or crying.
